Math Magic Back | Next 2) Ask the spectator to write down (where you can't see it) any 3 digit number, as long as the first digit is of greater value then the second digit, and the second digit is a lower value than the last digit. 3) Next ask them to reverse their chosen number and write down their new number below the first one where you can't see it. (Example: number "321" is reversed to make number “123".) 4) Ask the spectator to subtract the smaller number from the larger number, and write down the total where you can't see it. 5) Now ask the spectator to reverse the total and add it to the total. (Example: number "321" is reversed to make number “123". Then "123" is subtracted from "321" for a total of "198" Then the total (in this case "198" is reversed). The new number in this case is "891"added to the old total ("198") with a new total of "1089". 6) Proudly show the circled prediction of "6801". 7) They'll point out your prediction is not correct. Look puzzled, then turn it upside down. It is now "1089", matching their number! Bow! |
